Affiliate Program Terms & Conditions
Effective Date: January 1, 2026
Thank you for your interest in the Hagl Affiliate Program. By participating in the program, you agree to the following terms and conditions.
1. Eligible Referrals
Affiliates may refer genuine, independent Shopify merchants who have a legitimate interest in using Hagl.
Referrals must represent real businesses making an independent decision to install and use Hagl. Fraudulent, incentivized, fake, duplicate, or self-referrals are not eligible for commissions.
2. Commission Eligibility
A commission is earned only after all of the following conditions have been met:
The referred merchant installs Hagl using the affiliate's referral link.
The merchant subscribes to a paid Hagl plan.
The merchant successfully completes the first subscription payment.
Shopify remits the subscription revenue to Hagl.
No commission is earned until Hagl has actually received the subscription revenue from Shopify.
3. Payment Timing
Affiliate commissions will be processed after Hagl confirms receipt of the first subscription payment from Shopify.
If a payment is refunded, reversed, declined, charged back, canceled, or otherwise not received by Hagl, no commission will be payable.
4. Compliance
Affiliates agree to comply with all applicable laws, Shopify policies, and industry best practices.
Affiliates may not:
Purchase or create fake Shopify stores.
Create fake installs or fake subscriptions.
Post or solicit misleading or fabricated reviews.
Misrepresent Hagl or its features.
Engage in spam or deceptive marketing practices.
Offer incentives in exchange for App Store reviews unless expressly permitted under Shopify's policies.
Any violation may result in immediate removal from the program and forfeiture of unpaid commissions.
5. Verification
Hagl reserves the right to review and verify all referrals before approving commission payments.
If Hagl reasonably believes a referral was generated through fraudulent, deceptive, abusive, or policy-violating activity, Hagl may deny or withhold payment.
6. Program Changes
Hagl may modify, suspend, or terminate the Affiliate Program or these Terms & Conditions at any time.
Changes will not affect commissions already earned under these terms.
7. Independent Relationship
Participation in the Affiliate Program does not create any partnership, agency, employment, or joint venture relationship between Hagl and the affiliate.
